Announcing the University of Michigan Go Club Study Group!
In an effort to organize members interested in improving their go, we are starting a study group one hour before regular club meetings. (In other words, we’ll meet at Espresso Royale at 6pm on Thursdays and noon on Sunday.)
The format will vary. We will solve problems (fuseki, tesuji, life and death), review professional games, review club member games, share books and websites, and discuss theory.
The first study group will be Sunday, November 14th at noon. Kevin Lim has volunteered to lead this group.
If anyone is interested in presenting a specific topics (or have material like good problem books for high-level kyu), they can contact Bryan (gc-cos@umich.edu).
These meetings are open to the public, and for players of all strengths or anyone interested in learning the game.
